Updated renderings have been revealed of the nine-story, 83,000-square-foot commercial building in the early development stages at 23-20 Jackson Avenue, located on the corner of Pearson Street in the Court Square section of Long Island City. The first three floors of the building, dubbed Jackson Square, will contain 30,000 square feet of retail space, followed by 53,320 square feet of office space on the fourth through eighth floors, Real Estate Weekly reported.
New building applications have not been filed for the project at this time, although a marketing agency has been selected. The VOREA Group is the developer and acquired a 99-year ground-lease on the property in 2016. The 10,000-square-foot site is occupied by a single-story commercial building, although demolition permits have not been filed.
